Bell Rock

Bell Rock

There is quite a long list of things to do in Sedona, starting off with shopping trips or browsing through the many art galleries. If you're in town, you can't miss seeing the jeep tours and resort spas. There's water fun at Slide Rock State Park, hot-air balloon rides, hiking trails and lots of entertainment. But what makes this Arizona town special, earning it the most beautiful place in America distinction, is the splendid scenery. More than 4 million visitors a year enjoy this natural red rock country, dressed up with wind-worn rock forms, distinctive buttes, dramatic canyons.
Pictured here is Sedona's signature Bell Rock, a weathered sandstone butte, just one of Sedona's head turning, cover photo landforms. Bell Rock rises up from the desert floor about 550 feet, adding another point of interest among Arizona's eye-catching settings.
