Surrounded by nature and history and steeped in pure Southern hospitality, the historic Homestead Hotel is one of Virginia’s finest resorts. Brightened by fresh snow and holiday lights in this beautiful Christmastime setting, The Homestead is a four seasons resort, featuring accommodations for both business and pleasure. Located in Hot Springs, Virginia, the resort is known for its championship golf courses and alpine skiing facilities. Just in time for the winter season in 2008, a skating rink was installed, complete with festive lights and music.
With its distinct Colonial clock tower, the century old hotel follows the lines of the Georgian and Colonial Revival style of architecture.
Replacing the original hotel after a devastating fire, the resort continued to uphold its reputation as a first class establishment. Along with luxurious accommodations and distinguished cuisine, the resort's mountain setting only magnifies the hotel's splendor. Guests enjoy premier spas, a shooting range, excellent fly fishing, and 100 miles of hiking and biking trails. Entertaining vacationers since Thomas Bullitt built the first lodge on this site in 1766, The Homestead continues in the tradition of being polite hosts, pampering guests, and offering superb dining and luxurious accommodations.
