The Badger State
Fortunately positioned on two of America’s Great Lakes, Wisconsin relies heavily on its maritime trade, as well as its vast forests and sweeping agriculture lands. Sightseers and outdoor lovers take a special interest in the state's enchanting lakes, miles of quick flowing streams and the long shorelines of Lake Superior and Lake Michigan.
In the northern regions, the state's scenic wonders include a spectacular line of waterfalls along the coast, dense pine forests and shimmering Lakes. Its' beautiful lakeshores are dotted with charming lighthouses; and further inland backcountry roads lead to farm-fresh produce, antique shops and small-town craft shows. Wisconsin is filled with wonderful places and wonderful people.
