According to Florida's Native Timucuan Indians, the Wakulla Springs area may have been a place of strange and mysterious waters. Florida's largest springs continue to defy logic and common sense when it comes to the vast quantities of water that continually pump up out of the ground. Wakulla Tour BoatThe Wakulla River, mostly made up of spring water, is fed from one of the largest and deepest natural freshwater springs in the world.
Here at the Edward Ball Wakulla Springs State Park, crystal clear water provides an inviting river for kayaks, canoes and glass-bottom boat tours. Daily tours cruise through a well preserved Wakulla River and among the semi tropical landscape. River birds, alligators, turtles and fish help paint a wonderful Florida river setting.
