Susquehanna University - Selinsgrove, Pennsylvania

Susquehanna University is located in the scenic Susquehanna River Valley and the historic city of Selinsgrove, Pennsylvania. About an hour's drive from the state capital in Harrisburg, the college campus has been rated as one of the most beautiful in the country. Campus grounds are carefully maintained and dressed in Pennsylvania hardwoods, perennial flowers and complimentary shrubbery. Susquehanna University Especially colorful in autumn, the campus is spread over 325 acres.
Although the university's Georgian architecture dates back over 150 years, it's as modern as any, with internet hot-spots, a campus network and a 21st century digital library.
Pictured here in this evening view is the Blough-Weis Library, built in 1928. Over the years, as the student enrollment grew, so did the library's floor space. Wing additions, added in 1958 and 1974, recognize the Bough and Weis families and their generosity. As one of the most valuable resource centers at the university and fully equipped with all the latest digital formats of data, it's still comforting to know that shelves are still lined with books. In fact the library is proud of its Rare Book Room, furnished to simulate an English country home.
